- Lighting: Stop, turn, tail light, illuminated side marker and illuminated license plate. Replaceable lens covers. Lights are high mounted to protect from damage. In most states Tow Dollies do not have to be registered, thus require no tag, but if you do have to have a tag, its also the law that the tag must be lit
